Our 4-4.5ft cherry laurel plants are an ideal way to create a hedge without breaking the bank. Growing at a rate of 30-60cm (1-2ft) per year, it won’t be long before you have a great privacy screen that protects your boundary. 

 

Cherry laurels boast glossy green leaves all year round, and produce fragrant, white flowers in the spring. By the summer, there are cherry-red fruits that give the plant its name, and they slowly turn black towards autumn.

 

Supplied in a 15L pot, these plants can be planted into the ground straight away. However, the best time to plant them is in October or November, so they can benefit from wetter weather and allow their roots to establish over winter. Plant at a rate of 1.5 plants per metre for a great-looking hedge. Within 5-10 years, your cherry laurels can reach full height of 4-8 metres (13-26ft) and a spread of 2.5-4 metres (8-13ft).
